Membership Information

Payment options and benefits for memberships are:

Pay in full
Monthly Automatic bank draft
Charge Card payment (for full amount)

ACH payments are automatically deducted monthly from your checking or savings account at your bank.

Members fill out an authorization form and must provide a voided check. Your monthly amount will be deducted from your bank account one month from the date of your original membership date. We have deductions on the 10th and 20th of the month (deductions may not be made on this exact date, but will not be made before this date).

ACH may be stopped with written notice 30 days in advance of the next scheduled deduction. Founder's fees are non-refundable.

Payment may also be made by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express.

Some of the benefits of your YMCA membership include:

ALL fitness classes are free to members (Cardio-kickboxing, Yoga, Aquacise, and lots more) *speciality classes are an extra fee

Boland Wellness Center with Cybex equipment, cardio equipment, free weights and Racquetball courts are ALL FREE to members.

Members will find their program fees are as much as 50% lower than non-members (examples are Youth Sports, After School Kids Club, etc.).

Along with the benefits above we offer excellent facilities such as:

Most of the 2000 YMCA's across the nation have joined in a program called A.W.A.Y (Always Welcome At the YMCA) which enables Members of our Y to enjoy usage at other Ys free or at a nominal price, for a temporary period of time ($ 3.00 charge for the Quincy and Louisiana YMCA's). We are a part of that program and many of our members have enjoyed YMCA's during their vacations and business travels.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

YMCA programs and services are designed to benefit persons of all backgrounds. Fees for scholarships are based on the individual's economic needs, The YMCA uses contributed funds to ensure that those unable to pay the fees are able to participate. Individuals who need financial assistance for membership are encouraged to contact the YMCA to schedule an appointment.

Individuals needing financial assistance for membership are required to fill out a scholarship application and provide proof of income. Applications are available upon request at the front desk. All applicants are requested to bring documentation for any of the following items they receive: AFDC, SSI, disability, annuities, food stamps, child support, pensions, paycheck stubs, retirement, and income tax. You will be notified my mail about a week after application is turned in.

Non-Members under the age of 16 must be sponsored by a current member (the member must be with their guest while they are at the YMCA).

Family Membership

Married couples without children or with children under age 18 or with children ages 18-23, which are full-time students are included.

SPFamily

Single Parent Family

Households with only one parent or legal guardian with children under age 18 or ages 18-23, which are full-time students.

Adult

An individual who is 18 years and older and not a full-time student.

SCAdult

Senior Citizen Adult

This is for an adult age 62 or older.

SCCouple

Senior Citizen Couple

This is for married couples where one of the adults is age 62 or older.

Youth

This is for children age 8- 15.

Student

Student memberships - ACH Option is no longer available. Students can pay for the year ($159.00) or buy a 4 month block for $57.00 (September - January - April, May - August). Note: proof of full time status is required!! 12 hours is considered fulltime.
